In conjunction with the Deepavali celebration, this dance drama was produced to commemorate victory of good over evil; showcasing the students of TKI’s Kajang branch. The storyline is about Naragasura, a demon king who ruled Pragjyothishapura; terrorised the Devas, Ghandharvas and humans. Unable to stand the torture of Naragasura, all the Devas went to Lord Mahavishnu for rescue. Hence, Lord Mahavishnu in the form of Sri Krishna, along with his consort Satyabhama went to Pragjyothispura to kill Naragasura. Hearing the end of the cruel Naragasura, people all over the world celebrated with abundance of joy. To date, Naragachathurdashi is celebrated as Deepavali.
